to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It is one of the most amazing
feats of human labor - the only man-made construction on earth visible
from outer space. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the
Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb
area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty. |

| Fly to Chengdu by morning flight. Afternoon sightseeing includes Thatched Cottage of Dufu, erstwhile home of famous poet in Tang Dynasty and Wuhou Temple built in memory of Zhuge Liang, Prime Minister of Shu Han in the Three Kingdoms' period. |

Day 05 Chengdu - Leshan - Emei Mountain |

| Take a bus
to Leshan to see the 71-meter tall Giant Buddha. In the afternoon,
an excursion to Mount Emei by coach. |

Day 06 Emei Mountain - Chengdu |
|

| Climb up Emei Mountain early in the morning, and leave the mountain to Chengdu by bus. |

Day 07 Chengdu - Mianyang |

visiting the Giant Panda Breeding Center, and the Sanxingdui
Museum in which unearthed artifacts made 5000 years ago are
exhibited. |

Day 08 Mianyang - Jiuzhaigou Valley |

| Morning
transfer to Jiuzhaigou Valley, en route visit the Baoen Temple(Baoen
means to pay a debt of gratitude). |

| After breakfast riding in for visiting the state-run Jiuzhaigou Park in forests. It is celebrated for unique virginal quietness and its mystery character under heaven. The sparking snow-covered peaks and dark green forests remind people of the remote North-European scenery. There are over 100 plateau lakes("seas" called by Tibetans) of various sizes among dark green forests. The lake and streams are magnificent, elegant, serene, extremely fascinating. After supper taking part in Tibetan dance evening and tasting toast mutton. |

Day 10 Jiuzhaigou - Huanglong - Songpan |

| Full day excursion to Huanglong Scenic Spot which is praised as " Paradise in disguise". The name comes from the famous temple of Buddhism Hanglong Temple( meaning Yellow Dragon Temple). This scenic spots is located in the virginal forests of the northwest tableland of Sichuan Province, 7 kilometers long and 300 meters wide. There are lots of clear lakes("seas" called by Tibetans). When you get to this spot, you must have felt as if you were in a fairy world. |

Day 11 Songpan - Dujiangyan |

| Morning transfer to Dujiangyan, visit the famous Dujiangyan Irrigation System which was built during the Warring States Period(475-221 B.C.). The irrigated area has now reached more than 5300 square kilometers. Ancient Water Conservancy Works of Dujiangyan has been benefiting the people. It is a good example to us. |

Day 12 Dujiangyan - Chengdu |

| Visiting the Mt. Qingcheng, located in the south-west of Dujiangyan. It is so called because that the mountain is covered by green trees and shape of the mountain is like a city. The Chinese call it "the most quiet and peaceful place under heaven". If you climb up at the top of the mountain to have a bird's eye view, you may catch the contours of Chengdu, which makes you heart light. |

Day 13 Chengdu - Shanghai |

| Morning flight to Shanghai, the bustling commercial heart of China, known as "Paris of the East". Sightseeing includes the Temple of the Jade Buddha where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured, then a visit to the fascinating Yuyuan Garden. Stroll along the lively waterfront " The Bund". |
